How it works

The PoolRx Unit should be placed in pump basket by the motor or in the skimmer basket, and replaced every year. The specially treated alloy rod inside the unit rejuvenates the minerals. It must remain in the pump or skimmer basket. Minerals dissolve out of unit within 4 hours and disperse throughout the pool. Replacement minerals (Booster) need to be replaced added every 6 months if the pool is open all year round. The Booster mineral goes into the skimmer basket and dissolves. The minerals do not need to be added back into the unit.

PoolRx Synergy

The chlorine breaks down the organism’s cell wall while the minerals eliminate algae & bacteria. The PoolRx minerals are one thousand times more effective than chlorine in eliminating algae and bacteria. Chlorine and minerals work synergistically together, providing much higher levels on sanitization at amazing low levels of chlorine 0.5ppm. Research proves that with PoolRx low levels of chlorine (0.5ppm) sanitize the pool better than even 10.0ppm of chlorine levels would without PoolRx. The minerals make the chlorine more active in the water and require so much less to hold high residuals because of this synergy.

In other words, if you’d like to maintain a certain ppm of chlorine, you can achieve that number using 50% less chemicals.

How to run the PoolRx System?

It is recommended to use chlorine tablets in a floater or feeder to maintain a low constant residual. (0.5 to 1.0ppm of chlorine.) Any other type of chlorine can be used, however no bromine. No more need for phosphate removers or algaecides. PoolRx will eliminate the algae; this makes phosphates a non issue.

The chlorine tablet is comprised of chlorine, conditioner and acid. By using tablets your pool should stay balanced without any other adjustments.
